MEET NATALIE

Clinic Owner

THE CLINIC OWNER

Hello! My name is Natalie. I have been a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the CNO since 2011. I spent the first 7 years of my career as a nurse in LTC (specifically with Alzheimer’s patients) which was deeply rewarding. In December 2017, I decided to further my career and became certified in Advanced Nursing Footcare. Since then, I have been able to expand my practice using the most advanced and innovative technology in footcare to best serve my patients. When I left LTC, I never anticipated this would become my passion, but it has turned out to be the most rewarding nursing I have every had the pleasure of practicing.

With 6 years of full-time clinical experience in the footcare industry and over 11 years as a nurse, I am confident I can assist you with your footcare needs and work with you to find solutions for your ongoing foot health and comfort. I have a huge passion for helping people and making them feel their best. I truly enjoy the one-on-one time and therapeutic relationships developed with my patients and getting to know them as a whole. My nursing philosophy has always been to provide patient focused care rather than task focused care. I am a bit of a perfectionist and always ensure you care is done right, and is never rushed.

I strive to always update my education in the industry and offer the most innovative and effective treatment options for my patients in the clinic. I understand that the general population are often embarrassed to seek help for their foot problems. If this sounds like you, I encourage you to contact me. Please remember, I am in this career because I absolutely love it, and I strive to make every patient who sits in my chair feel completely comfortable from the time they arrive until the time they leave. As the permanent tattoo says on my arm: “They may forget your name, but will never forget how you made them feel”. Those are words I live by every single day, with every single patient interaction. I truly hope to meet you soon!

THE FRONT DESK

My name is Carina and I have been working in medical clinics since 2017. Prior to that, I worked with Loblaws as their E-Commerce Manager and helped launch their world wide 'PC Express' program. After receiving a concussion and being off work for a year, I became very interested in the brain and how the body works - hence finding a career in a medical field. I feel that my overall experience in retail, medical and online operations has given me a lot of knowledge in various areas!

I will be your first contact when you call, email or walk into the clinic and can help you with foot health products, booking appointments, etc. I am also a Certified Compression Fitter and am very knowledgeable in lower limb anatomy and footwear. I love my career and the best part about working at Sole Renewal Foot Care is that it is Dog Friendly. If you bring your dog to the clinic, I will literally lay on the ground and cuddle them, so you can rest assured everyone will have a great time.

HOW OUR CARE HELPS

PREVENTATIVE CARE

During a nursing assessment of the feet, your Nurse is able to determine causative factors of potential problems that may develop in the future and intervene with treatment and education as necessary to prevent this. Often times, people have issues with their feet that they didn’t know existed.

ACUTE SYMPTOMS

Your nurse is able to treat acute symptoms such as ingrown toenails and painful corns. If you suspect you may have an infection, your Nurse can do a consult. If she is able to, she can provide treatment or refer to another provider if extra care is required before receiving treatment.

CHRONIC ISSUES

You can rely on your Nurse to treat all of your chronic foot care needs such as corns, calluses, thickened and/or fungal nails, dry & cracked skin, plantar warts, and more! Your nurse can assess to find causative factors of these issues to provide education and help decrease symptoms.
