Advanced Foot Care Nurse Course (Online Theory + In-Person Clinical)
Part 1
The theoretical component, can be completed online at your own pace. This 110-hour course, comprising 95 lessons, follows a comprehensive curriculum founded on the best practice guidelines and evidence-based techniques in advanced and diabetic nursing foot care. Students will engage in online testing and have access to pre-recorded presentations from the comfort of their computer.
Part 2
Focuses on the clinical module, three days (approximately 24 hours), providing valuable hands-on skills training. This module covers a range of topics including policies and procedures, infection prevention and control, patient foot health assessment and documentation, patient education and referrals, as well as various foot care skills such as podiatry instrument, callous and corn reduction, wart care, burr training, and fungal nail care. Extensive coverage of diabetic foot care practices is also included.

Total: 134 educational hours
Completion deadline: Both theory and clinical must be completed within 12 months
